The first (CYTEF 2002) Polytechnic University of Cartagena, second (CYTEF 2003) at the University of Vigo, third (CYTEF 2005) at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Barcelona), the fourth (CYTEF 2007), which resulted in the consolidation of its territory as Iberian Iberoamerican Congress and Congress, in the University of Porto (Portugal), fifth (CYTEF 2009) University Jaume I in Castellon, sixth (CYTEF 2012) Polytechnic University of Madrid, the seventh (CYTEF 2014, V VII Iberoamerican Congress and Iberian Congress of Science and Technology of Refrigeration) at the Universidad Rovira i Virgili of Tarragona, the eighth (CYTEF 2016, VIII Iberian Congress and VI Ibero-American Congress of Science and Technology of Cold) in Coimbra (Portugal), el noveno (CYTEF 2018, IX Congreso Ibérico y VII Congreso Iberoamericano de Ciencias y Técnicas del Frío) en Valencia (Polytechnic University of Valencia), y el décimo (CYTEF 2020, X Congreso Ibérico y VIII Congreso Iberoamericano de Ciencias y Técnicas del Frío) en Pamplona (Universidad Pública de Navarra). Have been published, therefore, diez números de la Serie de Libros de Actas correspondientes a cada uno de los citados Congresos CYTEF, with the title "Advances in Science and Technology of Refrigeration - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 y 10”, which constitute a valuable source of scientific and technical information for researchers, technicians and professionals interested in the Science and Technology of Refrigeration, both as relates to refrigerating technology, technologies as applied in different sectors. This scientific value has been recognized by the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) that all communications are publishing these Congresses CYTEF to be accessible through your database FRIDOC (see page)
This recognition of the scientific value of these Congresses CYTEF has occurred because most of the researchers involved in these Congresses CYTEF are also publishing their research in the most prestigious journals in the world in the areas related to Science and Technology of Refrigeration, different systems including both refrigerating, as the various application systems cold (Food processing and preservation, air conditioning, industry, medicine). For all the above, encourage all researchers, technical and professional, interested in the research conducted in scientific fields related to Science and Technology of Refrigeration (especially in Spain, Portugal and in the countries of Latin America, but also in other countries), to participate in the Congress CYTEF where they will organize, and adhere to as Associates Technical Studies and Spanish Society of Refrigeration (SECYTEF) (see Form).
